We’ll compare familiar stories, study characters and settings, and play with story structure as students retell tales in their own words and create original responses to the texts. This fairy tale study is thoughtfully connected to our spring production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, helping students recognize common fairy tale elements and themes that appear across stories and adaptations.
