Audition INFORMATION

FALL 2026 MUSICAL

Auditioning for Mary Poppins is almost as easy as saying "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"

Just follow these simple steps, and you'll be ready for auditions!

STEP 1: COMPLETE THE AUDITION FORM

This form includes all production information, dates, tuition, and more.

Filling out the audition form is required so we have all of your information. Be sure to review the rehearsal calendar (linked HERE) before filling out the form so you can list any conflicts.

STEP 2: Choose a time slot

Choose an audition time slot on August 22.

STEP 3: DOWNLOAD THE AUDITION PACKET

Your audition packet includes everything you need to prepare for auditions.

Please be sure to:

  • Read through the audition information.

  • Review the character breakdown.

  • Read through the audition sides (no memorization required!).

  • Prepare the vocal selection(s) for the role(s) you're interested in.

  • Review the rehearsal calendar and important production information.

STEP 4: ATTEND AUDITIONS!

Come ready to have fun and do your best!

 During auditions, you will:

  • Read the provided scenes with your audition group.

  • Meet individually with our Music Director for your vocal audition.

  • Learn a short dance combination.

  • Attend callbacks on Sunday, August 23, if invited.

STEP 5: ACCEPT YOUR ROLE

If you're offered a role, congratulations! To officially accept your role, you will:

  • Register with Williamsburg School for the Arts & Innovation (if you are not already registered).

  • Submit your signed Student Commitment Contract and production deposit by August 25.

  • From there, we'll take care of the rest and get you ready for an unforgettable production of Mary Poppins!

Our goal is to provide meaningful performance opportunities for as many students as possible, and we do our very best to cast every student who auditions. However, Mary Poppins has a limited cast size, and we may not be able to offer a role to every performer.

If this production isn't the right fit for you, we want you to know that there is a place for you at Williamsburg School for the Arts & Innovation. This fall, we're expanding our performing arts programming with additional productions, classes, and training opportunities, and we'd love to help you find the program that's the best fit for your interests and goals.
