At WSA, we believe that meaningful learning experiences are best reflected through the voices of the students and families who live them every day. We invite you to read what families have to say about their experiences at Williamsburg School for the Arts & Innovation and the impact WSA has had on their children and their journeys.

"Three of my children - all WJCC students - participated in Page to Stage's fall 2025 production of Wizard of Oz. It was their first experience of being in a show, and I couldn't be more pleased with what a positive and encouraging experience it was for all three. From the audition process to the fully-realized production, Krista and her team provided the kids with an inclusive and encouraging environment in which to discover themselves as performers. In addition to having the opportunity to present a finished product that boasted stunningly high production values, my kids learned valuable lessons on teamwork, resilience, and performance techniques from this experience. They can't wait for the next show!" Ellen P.
"I wish we would have found WSA sooner because it has definitely been the best part of our homeschooling journey. We were immediately welcomed with open arms and felt a sense of belonging. It has been a place where creativity and imagination are encouraged and nurtured, producing amazing relationships, and experiences. Everyone here is friendly, approachable, and knowledgable, and they work hard to make sure you don't just feel welcomed, but that your child is also set up for success.I know lifelong memories are being made here too, and we look forward to making many more." "Our experience with WSA has only been positive. The families that chose to be part of the productions are kind and helpful. The production leaders are professional, providing true guidance to the children while simultaneously caring about the children and their needs. Great care and planning is taken for the children to be shaped and goals are set appropriately high. In the end, the children are proud of their accomplishments and have a ton of fun along the way! " Caroline H.
"We are THRILLED with the full-scale theatrical experiences, particularly R&H Cinderalla and the magic that came from the rigorous process of learning and producing such an artistic feat!"
"My girls missed being with friends when we started homeschool after having been in a small private school for several years. At WSA not only did they make friends, but they feel like family! They’ve learned so many things I never would’ve thought to or been able to teach them; drawing, sewing and Shakespeare!!" Megan O.
"We were so impressed with the production of the Wizard of Oz, with two of my kids playing a part! The schedule was made with children in mind and worked well for working families. There was so much care put into the choreography, the set, and the costumes. The kids were able to really shine on stage. My children had a blast." Laura M.
"When we felt we had to pull our daughter to homeschool, we weren't sure what would come next. We wanted social experiences and quality supplemental instruction, but not in a traditional school setting. We found her perfect fit at Williamsburg School for the Arts and Innovation. She has blossomed in the classes and especially the musical theater program. We are so grateful this community exists in Williamsburg."
